Handy in conversion kits

Much easier to have a faucet with a faucet rather than having to remove and replace the entire anode rod every time I drain the water heater.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Only available in black

In my case it requires a minor modification

Nice and easy to install. The petcock isn't that good because it doesn't clean the gas rail. I just used a brass connector and the problem is solved.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Unsure

Once installed, easy to use.

This is much easier to use than unplugging when draining an RV water heater. Not an easy installation, there isn't much room in an RV water heater. I had to remove the gas as install it.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Crumpled

Big size, good features, I hate plumbing in general.

The longer pole doesn't fit my new dual gas/electric water heater. This one barely made it. The center drain mechanism is good, but I'll have to reinstall mine with tape I think because mine is slow to drip. It's a nice feature, but I could take it or leave it since I don't empty my tank very often.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Don't remember

Does not correspond to the description or picture

Article does not correspond to the description or picture.1. The drain valve does not have a nipple to which a hose could be attached to prevent water from running down the sides of the RV.2. The design differs in that it doesn't have an adapter sleeve, it's one piece with the opposite configuration, so if your water heater uses smaller threads it will stick out a lot further.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Some small things

Excellent replacement anode

This SACRIFICIAL ANODE is made of zinc; which has a lower nobility than aluminum; has a drain and brass fittings. It breaks and protects the water heater tank better than the original aluminum anode, and also eliminates the bad smell of hot water. The brass fitting will not stick in the tank fitting and will not corrode like an OEM part. Draining the tank when not in use will also extend the life of the heaters.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negative impression

Well made but not as pictured, sent back

The photo in the web description shows a detachable 3/4" NPT adapter. I was given a 1/2" NPT and then a non-detachable 3/ 4" NPT fitting which made the part too long to fit in the water heater. I gave it stars because it was a well made brass fitting, but it doesn't fit most Atwood water heaters because it doesn't have enough room gives to fit the whole piece. with extra length caused by the 3'4" non-detachable part. I'd have to remove and reroute the propane supply line just to put a piece in…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Repaired

It took several attempts to get our trailer's hot water heater installed and running with no leaks. We ended up having to temporarily install it and use it over a weekend with a small leak, but the next weekend using sanitary sealant we were able to install all the parts with minimal difficulty and eventually no leaks. I won't test it again until this fall when it's time to winterize the trailer. After we used a compound (like teflon tape for liquid piping) it fit well. We both had issues with…

Pros
  • Nicely Packaged
Cons
  • Almost OK
