🧹 O-Cedar Every Which Way, Blue Flexible Dust Mop Refill Review

Fits my old O'Cedar mop frame. That's good, but I now find that I need long cords to catch everything, especially when I'm pushing dirt, dust, hair, and bits of bark a distance across the tiled floor. This design loses material in the mortar recesses. It works very well on wooden floors and better on rubber mats. I have to give it five stars as I could just grab the vacuum before I get to the tiles. I suspect it washes much, much better than native.

After the mop has been used for a month, it's time to clean it. Machine wash and dry. He has shrunk! Trying to get it back on the mop handle was a real challenge. After a fight, a bend formed in the mop head, causing the center to pop out a bit. When using it on floors I had to apply some pressure to make contact with the floor. Next time I clean it I won't tumble dry it and hope it keeps its shape. The product information says it can be washed 50 times. I don't think it's real.

These pads were purchased to replace my old O-cedar mop. While they fit perfectly on an old handle and do a decent job, they're much smaller and less durable than older mops. Unfortunately, not everything gets better over time, because cost reduction is more important than maintaining quality. If this is your first experience with o-cedar then you will not be disappointed. For example, I don't want to see how much the quality of the pens has deteriorated.

The old O-Cedar mop head had a rim of twine loops surrounding an inner oval of soft plastic. If the yarn is spread wide, the plastic can scratch the surface where the dust is applied. Meet my new O-Cedar mop head with twine loops covering the entire surface! It works like a dream.
