Good throwbag, but rope...?

I like the bag so far. I practiced a few throws and was able to send him 50 feet up. Haven't tried it from the boat yet. However, there are some small snags on the rope.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unreliable

Looks and feels good and solid

Bought after returning one of the marines. I was really cheap and junk, this one seems comparable to the more expensive one I had before I lost it. Hopefully it will hold up when it does, but it looks good and reliable.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • High price

Quality at best price

I wanted rope but didn't want to pay $60-90 for NRS or similar "professional" rope. My first attempt was a fiasco - the Best Sea Water line was unsafe and poorly made, barbed in cheap quality rope where the inside was loosely covered with ill-fitting webbing. This Obcursco reel line is a winning line. It has a high-quality rope with reflective thread and a more thoughtful bag. The rope is clean and untwisted, which is essential for safety, and strong enough to be used in emergency situations…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No performance

Great throw rope! in Boating & Sailing

This is a very high quality rope with a great bag that has Solas retro reflective tape and the bag has built in buoyancy! I have a famous brand of rope that has weathered and is just as good if not better! I can dry the bag myself to keep it dry like I have on my 13.7 Boston Whaler when I'm sailing 9 miles offshore to a lighthouse on a New England island and got caught in 15 foot waves and got really wet. It gives me peace of mind along with my ThrowRaft Survivor (Check it out!) and Airboom…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Negative Impression

I think I have a bad

Update: Obcursco contacted and ended up sending me a new one. The new buckle works as it should. I haven't had to use it much yet, but on the few throws I've only made in the backyard, the rope kind of caught itself. Not so much that I'm concerned, although I do think it will become smoother over time and perform better when wet. Original: Bought before an upcoming whitewater rafting trip. Everything seems fine with me, except that the bar bucket is not held together. Unfortunately the bag fell

Pros
  • . Many positive vibes
Cons
