Really drills glass!

They have been very useful to me. I drilled glass about an inch thick to create a drainage hole in the candle jar, which I converted into a planter. They drill drainage holes in ceramic/clay pots flawlessly! Also, I'm glad they came with some general instructions on how to use it (add water, etc.) because they were helpful.

That's exactly what I wanted, but I .

This was exactly what I needed but I was able to find the same set at a local hardware store for a slightly cheaper price. If shipping were faster I might keep them for myself rather than return them. But that's exactly what I was looking for and would have kept it were it not for the lower price and earlier availability.

They cut hardened steel.

I buy blades for knives and like to equip them with handles (flakes). I usually use Corby brass screws to mount the scale. The holes in the knife shaft are always too small for my Corby screws. The blades are hardened when I buy them, so I have to drill out the shanks for my Corby screws. I've tried all types of twist drills, but knife steel has always been very difficult to drill.
