Works perfectly. 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500

Fits and works. BUT there is no screw to fix the sensor. You must use the old screw. There may be a problem when the original screw snaps.

Pros
  • Nice packaging

ABS issues fixed, eligible for parts

Fearing the worst, the ABS doesn't light up but the right front brake jerks when stopping, I couldn't fix the problem and every mechanic told me so that there is air in the ABS module. The ABS light came on and I suspected the speed sensors were faulty. I cleaned them but they were still shaking. After replacing both fronts, my brakes work 100% and don't burn.

Cheap, fragile stuff. Stay away!

These sensors are complete junk. They were very tight in the hub assembly and when I put them in they BOTH broke off, even with a little lube. One of them came off flush with the hub, which took quite a long time to fish out. Please disregard the dirt in the photos - the magnets are in the shit I collected from my workbench. Don't waste your time and money with those fragile, ill-fitting sensors.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Great product and price

Just installed on a 2004 Avalanche and now my ABS light is on. Before that, my ABS worked at low speeds but didn't light up. IDK whether it's a bad sensor or not. I will update after disassembling and checking everything again. Update. The problem was the dirt on the sensor, apparently I touched it when installing it on some kind of lube. After cleaning, the ABS light went out and stopped knocking at low speed. Upgrade to 5 stars, highly recommended.

Didn't help: Replacement parts

Replaced the front speed sensors on a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. My ABS and brake light came on after about 10 minutes of driving, the dealer scanned and diagnosed an issue with the wheel speed sensor. As soon as I took out the old sensors, I saw an obvious sensor malfunction on both sides. Installed this brand new kit and as soon as I turned on my truck both headlights immediately lit up followed by an endless chime. I took everything back, checked the product for damage, but both looked good…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Fixed ABS activation at low speed for 03 Silverado

I had a problem stopping slowly at a traffic light where the ABS kicked in the last few meters causing the brake pedal to pulsate. A very uncomfortable feeling. After some research I found that this is a common problem of a faulty sensor or rust causing the sensors to be misplaced. Please advise the age of the car, I figured I could just replace them if I had to bother getting them. After pulling out the old ones and cleaning the old ones from rust, I used these new sensors. They seem to be…
