Not compatible with HERZO dust hood

Bought together with HERZO universal flat sanding hood and Porter 4.5" sanding cable. I bought it right away. Did the bottom of the grinding head touch concrete? The Porter-Cable screw lock was too big to fit properly without spacers - same problem on my Dewalt. Also looking at this product it seems to be a cheap import and I was afraid to use it will buy branded steering wheel instead

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Hard sanding on slate and wood

I was very impressed with this sanding attachment. When I saw that there were many different ones for sale on the website I settled on this one because of the price and simply because it looked solid. As you can see in my video, this thing completely ate the slate countertop I was working on and sharpened it by almost a quarter of an inch in a very short time. Yes, it's difficult to get even soft stone perfectly sharpened with this sharpening attachment, but it's a great first step. I've also…

OMG on a slim set! in Abrasives & Finishes

Worked wonders with a thin set that stuck to my plywood base after removing tile and backing. I had low expectations of how well this would work and I can honestly say I was blown away. I strapped the pointed attachment from my shop vacuum to the base of my angle grinder to try and keep the dusty mess at bay, which was important. Be sure to wear respiratory and eye protection and shake the commercially available vacuum filter frequently (from the outside, of course). Despite the mess, this…

The sanding wheel did the job like a boss

I used this sander to remove epoxy from a concrete floor in the basement. The grinding wheel got the job done like a boss, but the job created a lot of chaos as I used a lot of water to knock off the dust. You end up with a messy cement mix, but better than a ton of dust IMO. I vacuumed it up and then spent about 1 hour cleaning the tools which were covered in cement slurry. I first tried paint remover to remove the epoxy but it worked very slowly and the chemicals gave me a headache. I was…

Pros
  • High marks from testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great concrete mixer!

This grinder worked great. It's well built, durable and for the price you can't beat it! I used it to wipe off about 60 square feet of paint from my laundry room floor and another 30 square feet of mastic residue from a linoleum tile I removed from the half bathroom next to the laundry room. It took about 3 hours but now I have the perfect surface to put the grouted tile on. It made a huge mess, but that's because I used a 4.5 inch angle grinder and not a larger tool that can hold dust. I've…

Not bad for the price but not ideal for a regular coffee grinder

Pretty nice tool if you want to level a concrete slab. I used it after removing the tiles to replace the floor in my house. He did an excellent job of making the record smooth and silky. It certainly produces a lot of fine dust, but that's to be expected. I only made about 50 square meters. feet, and it looks like about 25% of the grinding surfaces have been used. So if you do a lot of grinding, this probably isn't a very durable grinding bowl. Didn't fit my grinder. As others have noted, its…

Great inexpensive consumable tool

I bought two 4.5" OCR diamond grinding wheels for $10 (yellow) and used them with a RYOBI AG4031G 4-1/2" angle grinder for $35 US dollars used. I argued that my concrete grinding project would destroy both tools, and I bought Chinaseum's cheapest disposable tools for the job. These OCR brand grinding wheels worked just the way I needed them to. I was expecting bad wear and tear so I bought two. I covered 1000 sq ft of 4000psi glass fiber reinforced concrete with just one wheel - the OCR wheel…

Great for the price

This is about 1/4 the price of the same item at a blue tag hardware store. I figured I'd give it a try and if it didn't work I'd only pay 25% more than buying a famous branded version first. I'm almost finished with my project and I can't say that the sanding surface is badly worn. I see sparkling diamonds embedded in the cutting surface. As long as there is no asbestos as a filler, the thing is great. This thing will pierce concrete, concrete paving, and floor paint. I even hammered some nails

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Empty

Does a good job as an unknown player in the grind game. [I had never heard of this company until I found this product on Amazon]. We ended up having to get one of these to fix an issue at our local city office. They sent out FIX IT messages for the "rough road" segments. At first we tried using the so-called masonry and cement grinding wheels for $2-4. What a waste of money! These are cheap wheels that hang right over the side grinders at Homedepot or Lowes. If I knew how much better such a cup
