Works well after modification

My screen kept getting darker while using the Quest 2 so I had to modify the cover by cutting out a notch in the proximity sensor area - the proximity sensor is a rectangular object between the two screens. After cutting out this notch I had no more problems and am happy with the product. The cover can be washed quite easily and is not even noticeable when wearing the Quest 2.

not what I expected

I think the thing works fine but it's not what I expected. It's just a silicone sleeve for your current face pad. Feels weird on the skin, but I think it's ok. In any case, this does not change anything in terms of comfort, since the lining at the top is the same as the old one. It only makes it "cooler" when you first put it on your face and gets warmer when you leave. I'll probably switch to leather, but that works great in a pinch. then you don't need it either. it's more like "let's just…

Ideal and affordable for sports and intense gaming sessions

Ideal for training and intense gaming sessions. It's very easy to clean, light doesn't penetrate your nose so games are more intense, and it's much more comfortable than Quest 2's rough foam. The silicone feels great the first time you put it on for any gaming session. However, because the sweat doesn't soak in, the Quest 2 tends to slip if I keep playing after sweating a lot. The fit to the Quest 2 itself is very tight. My old Quest 1 cap kept coming off on the nose and this was very annoying,

Very thin, without padding and completely untied to the Oculus device. Funny smell too.

It was uncomfortable and felt out of place on the Oculus Quest 2. It stuck to my skin more than the Quest, caused uncomfortable friction, and caused MORE device movement than the original foam alone. It loosely covers a standard face mask but fully adheres to your face. This product was very economical, but offered an inferior experience to the stock hardware that came with the Quest 2. Reduces light and slippage! Increases comfort and is easy to clean.

This product has fixed many major issues I was having with my Quest 2. I'm Asian so don't have a nose bridge and the device slipped down my face despite adding a counterweight. I also didn't have the anatomy to cover the nostril, which is why it let in so much light. This silicone coating solved all these problems and the material became much more comfortable. It's also a lot easier to clean between sessions (I use a lot of skin care products and they cover all my VR, lol). All in all a great…

Not 100% what I expected but 100% worth it.

I also have an HTC Vive which I bought VR cases for when it first came out. The VR covers I bought were from a company called "VR Cover" that made leather replacement face seals. While I knew it would be a silicone material, I expected it to be more of a replacement pad and not just a silicone case/thick sheet/sleeve that just slips over the existing pad for your Quest 2.
