Excellent grip and very soft

Super grippy! These are really soft grips on my hands, I don't think I'll need gloves anymore. They were difficult to put on (with the attachment method) but I doubt they would move much, if at all, even after a hard ride. So far they are really good, day and night compared to my standard BMX cranks which were really worn out.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great buy - Cycling

I bought these for my 9 year old's bike. I trimmed the unwanted length which was very easy, sprayed some hairspray on the handlebars as recommended by a knowledgeable friend and all went very easily. I plugged in and it was off. He said he liked the feel and that they were nice and soft. I definitely recommend them if you are in the stylus market.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

Classic bike handle.

Recently switched from BMX to MTB and DID NOT like the cheap, ergonomically designed grips that came with it. Everyone rides mountain bikes with a lock or a thick foam grip, but I wanted a classic BMX grip that felt right at home. It seems to be the perfect length for my large hands and there's still room for brakes and shifters on modern wide flat handlebars. Also a decent bar end to protect my bars which took some damage from the rear grips.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Negative

Great grips: handlebar, steerer and stem

The grips worked great on my Giant ATX 780 mountain bike I had to trim the length to fit my handlebars. The handles were very oriental so they could be cut with a razor blade and some rubbing alcohol. I also cleaned the handlebars with rubbing alcohol and applied some rubbing alcohol to the inside of the grips when installing them on the handlebars. Very easy assembly and the end caps fit perfectly. The grips feel great when riding. GOOD QUALITY, MADE IN THE USA!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Safety

Excellent fit for Razor A5 on grips

I bought these to replace the stock grips on my Razor A5 which are too small for my hands. Everyone says the ODI Longneck grips are the best and I agree they are awesome. Really well made and comfortable. The Razor A5 will require you to cut the flanges off in order for it to work, but this is very easy to do with a sharp knife. That's what the company expects of you - the handles even have a cutout to guide your cut. I used a few drops of rubbing alcohol on the inside and they slid right onto…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Modern

Great grips, nice touch ribs with little padding, flange ideal for BMX bikes

If you don't have an air compressor, just use isopropyl alcohol to tighten the grips. Pour a little over the inside of the handles and quickly slide them onto the bar. When they start to stick, twist the knobs and tap the ends. You will continue. The alcohol makes the grip slippery so it slides easily, then it evaporates and the grip sticks to the handlebars as it should. Whatever you do, DO NOT use oil! They remain permanently slippery and slide during use.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties
