after about 3 attempts to pump the brake fluid out of the caliper - bubbles in the line - the tool cannot hold a vacuum. This useless thing is garbage

Didn't work on my brake but I'm not saying it won't work on yours. My calipers were made in China (Onaion Reeper), so could this have anything to do with it? I had to buy a vacuum pump that hooked up to my air tank and it worked for me.

I need a vacuum bleeder valve to change the brake fluid on my motorcycle. The doula clip holding the pen jumped out and shot into the grass. Not very well assembled but worked well until the pin fell into the front brake 5 minutes later.

Warning, this product does not perform as advertised. Read the reviews, this product is cheap junk plastic that doesn't work. I am very upset that I bought this and caution others who decide to spend their hard earned money on a product that does not live up to its promise. Warning, this is plastic waste.

The one I got seemed to do the job on two different cars. There were no problems with the vacuum pump leaking. However, I can see where it will eventually give way. Some of the hoses had kinks but that didn't stop them from working, it just made them awkward to use. You should have a small tube, but a very smaller diameter, since the end you connect to the blood drain nipples will eventually expand and you'll have to trim it each time to keep it tight. Received this product quicker than expected which is always a plus. I ordered this item because I saw a youtube video of a mechanic using this device to bleed the brakes on a Ducati. I know most of the reviews said they were used on a car so I figured that would help. The product does what it is supposed to do but when trying to pressurize the slave cylinder bleeder I had to hold the hose on the bleeder. Bleeder screw for a secure hold. This is not the product as described. I feel betrayed and betrayed. Terrible quality product. It broke on first use. It actually broke before the first use. I haven't had this product for a long time so I can't comment on its durability but I'm very happy with the quality and ease of use, especially given the price. This package only says OEM but the pump is branded Mityvac and I believe it is sold under that name as well.
