Ideal for the 7500W Champion DF Generator.

This OEM TOOLS 87017 low profile oil pan is a perfect match for my 7500w DF Champion alternator. I had trouble finding something to drain the oil during an oil change (5 hour break-in period) without making a mess. That is the answer. I truly believe this oil pan was made for this champion generator. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Expensive

Great for small tools like my generator

I have a 7500w Champion generator that is low to the ground and very heavy. I bought this drain pan to install under the generator to drain the engine oil. It slid under the generator with ease and easily handled the volume of oil. I will use it for other small engine oil changes but it has worked great for the job I bought it for.

Use of a lawn mower. suitable for decanting fuel and lubricants

Every year I was afraid of the annual oil change in the lawnmower. I've never been able to find a pan small enough to fit under the 3 inch deck gap that would hold all the oil. This usually led to a leakage fault. This one holds all the oil and fits like a glove. I can even change the oil safely in the garage. The pan is heavy plastic and meant to last forever, should have bought it a year ago.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • I don't remember

Fits my mower

Draining the oil from the mower was a problem. I needed something big enough to catch but not too big so I couldn't put it under the mower. This is a very good size. It holds enough oil (it's quite full) but I can mount it from below and catch it all. The only problem is the lack of an angled spout and the subsequent pouring into a container. I take a big funnel because I spilled something on the first transfer.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Ideal for changing the oil in the backup generator

It's stiff enough for my use with a generator, and I can put a board underneath for extra stability when taking it to a landfill. Sure, the design could be better, but for less than $11, it's a good value.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Мятая упаковка

Too small for my needs

Simple enough, it's tiny. I should have paid more attention to the description. This pan is NOT intended for use with vehicles. At least not in the traditional sense, for oil, gears, etc. That's what I need it for. It is best suited for small jobs like lawn mowing. However, it is well built. However, be careful when moving during use. Its design makes large movements impossible without leakage. i will keep it I have about 10 large flat magnets that I'm going to attach to so I can use them as…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • unreliable

Excellent oil drain pan when vertical clearance is limited.

This pan fits very easily under a motorcycle, generator, lawn mower, car wash, etc. The first time I changed the oil with no problems. The sump is perfect for pouring drained oil into my large sump that doesn't match the above equipment. The narrow end of this pot fits perfectly into the drain hole of larger pots. Pouring oil into another type of container can be a problem if you don't have a funnel handy; However, I wish I had found this pan many years ago. Great buy at a great price.

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Problems
