OGIO Mutant Travel Cover Static Review

This travel cover was a complete waste of money. After just one trip, the stitching began to come apart and the zipper broke. It offered very little protection for my golf bag and clubs, and I was left with damaged equipment. On the positive side, it is lightweight and easy to maneuver. However, in the end, this product is not worth the investment for any golfer who takes their equipment seriously. Sports and Outdoors enthusiasts beware.

Used for two flights including some transfers. The clubs arrived safely. I've seen some complaints about the bag's durability. I can see some wear on the underside from my rides, but nothing is clearly cracked. The bag is also quite large if you have a stand bag so keep that in mind. Also get the BASE. You never know what your clubs will be pushed against.

This thing looks really well built. I tried Savage, it seems to be from OGIO, it's not very heavy. One flight from Seattle to Phoenix and back, two holes. Another flight to Los Angeles and back, a hole the size of a quarter. So I bought a mutant. Now I see that due to the softer material a hole can no doubt form, but this material is thick and I don't think a few holes will make a difference.
