the product looks like the picture, the fabric is a bit thin but not bad. About the size: I am a 5'7 125lb female and I wear a large size, I find a medium would be better, but since I wear yoga pants I think it will be ok. haven't tried it yet. I'll update the post and let you know how shock-absorbing it is :)

I've read reviews that women can wear them. It seemed to me that the landing is very uncomfortable. There was more room in the crotch area, but everything else fitted well. They definitely seemed more voluminous than I expected. They also didn't fit under my snowboard pants because they added too much bulk. I would have had to buy a pair of pants larger to wear over it, but then the pants would be too big when I no longer need them.

such a funny story. I was roller skating at the skate park on the ramps and as a noob I fell HARDLY on my tailbone 3 times I was skates off for a month trying to recover. then i bought them and challenged the skate park again. This time I went down the ramp only to fall and BROKE MY WRIST. I wish I was joking, but I'm not. The good news is that these shorts protected my tailbone 100% and I didn't feel anything there, although it was still sensitive. So the product works!

Based on reviews I ordered 2 sizes larger than my daughter needs. They came WAY too big. So they will fit my son which is nice although I didn't want to buy him a pair to use on his next ski trip. I ordered their correct size and they fit perfectly. I think they fixed the sizing issues. Beautifully sewn, fitted in very quickly, fit under my daughter's clothes without exaggeration. I am happy with this purchase.

Loved these snowboard shorts. I'm 5'7, 135 lbs and the average fits really well. A little extra fabric at the waist, but it's not critical. The black tones have very good opacity and aren't too thick, which I really appreciate. They're not too bulky and I don't feel them when I put them on.
