Not OLight’s best product

I personally think Olight gets far too much positive attention by YouTube influencers. I’ve never been wowed by any of their lights but for some reason I was drawn to this flashlight. Pay attention to the other critical reviews as they are spot on. The button is a rubber membrane that WILL fail. Likely a few days after the warranty expires. The clip is not at all secure. The charger is gimmicky and the battery proprietary. Who wants to carry a proprietary charging cable for their flashlight…

Pros
  • The Baton3 is incredibly versatile, with multiple light modes including strobe, high, medium, and low
Cons
  • May not be reliable for long-term use

Great light in my review

The light is extremely bright. I thought I might not like having to cycle through the different settings, but I love this thing. Looks cool, feels good, and has an incredibly bright light.

Pros
  • Flashlights
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain charging devices

Great light - my new review

This is a great little light, fits perfectly in your pocket. The light is very bright, and works great. The battery lasts longer than the last rechargeable light I purchased.

Pros
  • The high-quality LED light source ensures a long lifespan and low energy consumption
Cons
  • May not be effective for emergency situations

So nice like a quality tool should be

These are so nice like a quality tool should be. More like a fine lighting instrument than a flashlight. I bought one for myself, Wife, Mom and Dad.Comes with a magnetic charger stand and cord. There's also a version that's the same LED but has a self charging case, very cool. The case will give several charges. I'm using that version too. We use it to charge both lights when needed.

Pros
  • This flashlight is great for everyday use around the house, whether you need to find something in a dark closet or illuminate a work area
Cons
  • May not be able to withstand heavy rain or snow

Works as advertised

I’ve been using this for a few months for work. I find the mid brightness setting is best for continued use, battery last around 7 hours on that setting. Turbo mode is insanely bright for its size will light up a field.

Pros
  • Bought as stocking stuffer for husband and he loves it. Very bright, can fit in your pocket.
Cons
  • Price may be too steep for some consumers

Extremely Versatile

I’ve never been one to get nit picky over flashlights. I’ve worked in pest control for years and if it gets bright when you press the button it usually passes the test. I picked this one up because a coworker had one, and while in a crawl space together I saw him clip it on the bill of his hat to free up his hands and realized how useful that could be. That was over a year and a half ago, and since then I’ve picked up a whole new appreciation for this light. While it’s served me well at work…

Pros
  • This is a great compact light. Very strong Perfect for edc
Cons
  • Green color may make it easy to lose in outdoor environments

I love this light! good for me

I carry this everyday. I use it for work. Still running bright and strong. Bought a belt clip for it. Battery life is decent, brightness is insane for it’s size! I’m always showing this thing off.

Pros
  • Powered by a single rechargeable battery, the Baton3 boasts a max runtime of 20 days that you can always count on.
Cons
  • May not be effective in heavily wooded areas

It really is steel and not aluminum

It looked so identical to the aluminum versions I thought it was just a raw aluminum version and the write-up was only describing the color and not the material. But it's steel. Unfortunately, the detailed description may even lead you to believe it is aluminum, as it is listed at the same weight as all the others which are aluminum -- 53g. But in fact, it weighs in at 83g. They should correct the description. The weight is listed correctly on the box (and in your hand!). I don't think there is

Pros
  • The Baton3 is a high-quality, well-made product that is built to last for years to come
Cons
  • May not be effective for camping or hiking

I use low, medium and bright modes often. The only flashlight I use. Lasts over a month on single battery charge. My pocket knife clips into R pocket, my Olight clips into the L-always! It's the best, smallest, brightest flashlight period.

Pros
  • The Baton3 has a built-in battery level indicator, so you can quickly see when it needs to be charged
Cons
  • May not have a user-friendly design
