The only problem I have with these chisels is their size. They are very small in length. Tiny!. The handle is so tiny that it is impossible and unrealistic not to get caught on the metal part while working and unfortunately very uncomfortable in the hand. Out of the box they come out pretty sharp so I give them 3 stars out of 5.

If I had to finish this I'd probably pick a better set. Stanley or set above them. Home Depot has an excellent selection of different kits of varying quality and prices. But for the price I still can't complain. I only plan on using them on soft pine material etc. After some research, Olympia is not a high quality instrument brand. But still 4 stars for a 4 piece set at an amazing price. Hope they last a while.

Great chisel set for only $12? Serious? would anyway! I was very positively surprised by this. Pretty sharp out of the box and just a minute or two of fine sharpening (actually deburring) and you're ready to cut your hair. The only thing I would like to change is to make them a little longer for better control. later I should have known these couldn't be fantastically good chisels for the price. I work with wood mainly for personal use in my house and have built some pine shelving for the pantry. I made them from 1 x 12 pine with quite a few knots. I cut the grooves for the shelves in the side boards with a circular saw and then removed the saw cuts with these chisels.
