I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Sample photos with this lens: Different pros: A good, light, nimble "pancake-fix" with which the camera (Olympus E-PEN 1) fits easily in a pocket or small purse. Excellent sharpness from 2.8. Works well in backlight and macro photography, despite the fact that focusing from 20 centimeters. Its cons: small lid, tends to get lost all the time. It is treated by installing a protective UV filter and "hiding" the cap in the bag. While it is impossible to buy a hood. Less aperture than the…

Tiny sharp inexpensive lens

Tiny lens that makes Olympus OMDs look like a small discreet camera. Since it's about 35mm equivalent, it also works well for landscapes. I don't keep it well in my cell; small enough to fit in your pocket. Spicy and cheap. I also have an Oly 12-40 f2.8 Pro but it gets just as much use due to its size. And of course the price. A great little lens for those who cannot/don't want to afford a more expensive lens.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Only available in white

Low score for a Zuiko lens

This is a compact lens with a traditional focal length for street photography, making it attractive for the E-M10 or PEN-F. I think it looks good. The downside to his focus is that he's slow, noisy, and hunts too much. Motor lag is noticeable in manual focus modes - the only Olympus MFT lens I've used where this is true. Since I wouldn't recommend it for street photography, that leaves only landscape and the like where its only advantage is price.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Sad packaging

This lens is ideal for PEN cameras because it has .

This lens is great for PEN cameras because it has a low profile and it allows me to put my camera in my pocket. The kit lens that came with my e-pl6 had decent image quality, but it was too big for such a small camera, so it was perfect for all needs. Image quality is decent and focuses close enough for good stream shots, albeit not true macro. Out of focus areas aren't always easy on the eye, but otherwise I'm delighted with this lens.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • For old

Great pancake lens!

First of all I am a beginner photographer and before purchasing this lens I was mainly using the stock lens that came with my Olympus OMD EM5. It worked. That was excellent. However, I wanted to shake things up and read in some blogs that pancake lentils are all the rage right now. Well after trying this baby I can honestly say "wow” what's the difference. The quality and sharpness of my photos is ten times better than with a standard lens. I also like the convenience of carrying a pancake lens

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Minor issues

Underrated DSLR lenses

I use this lens on my EM-10. First of all, yes, the autofocus is a bit noisy, and I'm not the biggest fan of non-internal focusing lenses (of all my lenses, only this one and my 4/3 35mm macro don't work). ). Chromatic aberration and slight vignette are there if that's what you're looking for. Despite these aspects, I really like the lens. The focusing speed, while not as fast as newer prime lenses (Olympus 17mm, 1.8, 25mm, 45mm), is on par with the kit lens (14-42 R2), so with this lens you…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Some little things

The Olympus M.17mm f/2.8 lens

. I bought this lens for my Olympus E-PL1 before going on holiday to Disney World and Epcot recently. I used it to take handheld night shots of the fireworks over Cinderella Castle and handheld videos of the final fireworks at Epcot - both turned out amazing! Olympus lens but chose the latter mainly because of the price difference, smaller size and lighter weight and I'm glad I did. If the Panasonic is indeed superior, I highly doubt that difference will be apparent in almost all photos for all

Pros
  • is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Zero
