Omix Ada 17740 03 Fuel Filler Hose Review

Purchased in 2016. I had to remove the tank to do some work and the hose was rock hard and had shrunk in diameter. Was going to reconnect it and in 30 days the length had shrunk so much it didn't reach the tank. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

The product itself is what we needed and would have been good had it not been long enough. Turns out we needed at least one more foot, and Revain seems severely lacking in specs for this type of product. The length is hard to find.

Well, I was at the gas station, I filled up the tank of the Jeep and the whole time I felt the liquid splashing on my legs. So I sat down and saw the gas come out. A quick check revealed that the inlet hose was worn and leaking. FML! Right? I bought this for an 85 CJ-7 and it fit as expected. No more gas on my feet. :)

Bad fit on the tank nipple. My tank is a 15 gallon Omix Ada steel tank. My old hose had a flare for this fitting. Not this hose. It CAN BE DONE, but halfway through you're going to be a crazy son of a bitch! Also, it's too long. You need to cut the length, otherwise the hose will kink when installing. I ordered a 20 gallon refueling hose as it has a flared end. I'll install this instead if it arrives.
