Fit with Size Chart

I used the size chart to purchase this life jacket and I measured between two sizes. I took the larger of the two sizes and it fits great! Very comfortable, that's the way it should be! Very satisfied.

O'Neill Siren Women's Life Jacket USCG

I bought a size 8 and it fits me perfectly. I feel the chest area is a bit loose so a size 6 would also fit. I haven't tried 6 so I'm not entirely sure.) Normally my clothing size is XS or 0 (US size). I'm 5'2", 105lbs and 32a. Hope this helps someone make a decision.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Tradeable

The size 10 jacket fits me much better. Size 8 was tight

The life jacket runs small so I had to change it to a larger size. Returning for a different size was a simple process. I'm 5'5, 125 pounds. The size 10 jacket fits me much better. Eight was comfortable. I use my life jacket almost every day. The quality is excellent.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

Best swimwear

The first rating I got was an 8, outside the chart. Received one that was too tight so had to return it to get a 10. Overall this is a great life jacket, I can't swim. It keeps your head above the water, it's light and comfortable, and you can move it around. I tested it in the pool and had a great swim.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled

Listen to other reviews! It works a little. I usually wear a size 2-4 and an 8 is fine for me. I wouldn't say the lumbar support reaches my actual lumbar but it's a cute life jacket that fits well. I bought it for standing rows and appreciate the "anatomical flex points" for freedom of movement.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • So far so good

Durable life jacket but too small.

This jacket appears to be very durable and well tailored but it is too small and is the largest jacket they sell. I'm 5ft 5in, 165cm, chest 38B, and the zipper spacing is at least 4 inches. I'm wearing a size 10-12 dress and pants. It's sad they don't sell plus sizes for women. Too small for water sports I think I'm very average height.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Very pretty but the size is too small

So I bought this item thinking it would be a bit small so I got an 8 instead of a size 6 which I usually wear, and that's not all. small, I couldn't even use it. So I was about to exchange it for a larger size but they asked an additional $40. Instead of using it I returned it for my money. While I liked it and thought it would be nice, I didn't feel that going up a size was worth the extra $40.

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • Some cons

Order 2 sizes larger than usual!

Really glad I read the reviews, size over 2. I usually pick a solid size 8 for tops (half the time S and half the time M). So I ordered 12. When I saw it when it arrived I thought it looked big but when I put it on it fit! Not too loose to be tight. I think it's a good life jacket, my only complaint is that it seems to lift when I'm in the water, the life jacket lands over my ears. Maybe I'm just weird, but I want it to stay that way. I tightened the lap belts but that doesn't seem to be enough

Pros
  • Decent performance

Nearly perfect! GF loves his new vest!

I bought the same O'Neill range for me and my girlfriend. Both are identical except that the men's version doesn't have the ruffle design at the front and back. We both love it! We tried on different models, including those from Body Glove and Stearns. This is the model we saved! Pros: - Sturdy construction - Hidden strap system - Quality and strong stitching, zips and buckles - Sides fit very well - Design is very modern and professional - Safety zip with Velcro - Good security feature…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Non automatic
