You can't go wrong.

These are great knives for people who want a really high carbon steel. If you're looking for a knife that can be sharpened to a fine edge and will last a lifetime, this is it right knives for you. Made in the USA with quality materials. You can't be wrong. I have one caveat: high carbon steel needs to be dried and oiled occasionally (vegetable oil will do) before storage. Consider a cast iron skillet. If you're going to put a knife in the washing machine, buy stainless steel. Stainless steel…

Great knife set. Find out how to take care of them.

This set is made of carbon steel. It's not stainless steel. Don't treat it like stainless steel. You can't leave it in the sink, and you can't leave it on the counter for a while, and you can't put it in the dishwasher you use it, wash it, dry it completely and put some oil on it, you don't have to wait to wash, dry or oil it, however these are wonderful USA made knives that are very affordable. You may need to touch up the handles a bit with sandpaper and oil and maybe give them a better edge.

If you expect fine cutlery in immaculate condition look elsewhere

These knives are exactly what they should be; primitive knives with a carbon steel wooden handle. If you want beautiful pieces of immaculate Expect cutlery look elsewhere I never write a review until I have had enough time to use the product and I absolutely love these knives I bought a set for my brother and he loves them too However these are require Knives need special care If you want your knives to be razor sharp they will need to be sharpened like most knives, however they are very easy…

Needs extra sharpening, but not bad!

I know and love knives (just for cooking)! I have a mix of vg-10/aus-10 top kitchen knives and these. Use vg- 10/off-10 not for heavy cuts or they may chip. They are great for heavy cuts (or otherwise) but will need to be sharpened upon receipt.I should note the 3.5 twin as I've seen it mentioned several times. As far as I can tell the company didn't sharpen it properly. I've used it on stone and ceramics and couldn't sharpen it (as others have mentioned). Eventually I took it to the grinder and

This is the best knife set you will find for less than $100.

The only problem I've had is the paring knife which I can't seem to sharpen properly no matter how hard I try. I'm no newbie to sharpening knives and tools and have managed to putting a razor blade on top of all the other blades in this set this is the best set of knives you will find for less than $100 rusting on these knives is NOT a defect for those new to carbon knives they rust easily when they are not cared for properly. They must be washed immediately after each use. Do not even wait…

VARIOUS ATTRACTIVE Great for the kitchen and dining room

I noticed that there are two groups that buy these knives. A group buys knives based on reviews and price. Another group buys because the blades are high carbon and buyers understand that these knives represent an exceptional offering. I consistently stuck with the last group and bought a set of five knives and added the chef's knife as a separate item. The knives came in varying sharpness and texture, but all were sharp for cutting paper and usable as kitchen knives. The only knife that needed
