If there is no choice, you can buy it.

After reading a lot of reviews about this device, I could not determine whether I need it. Therefore, I decided to purchase a mini air conditioner myself in order to understand what kind of device it is. I ordered it via the internet. Came in a day. The box is small, square, about 20/20/20 cm. Weight - up to a kilogram. The design is cute and promising. Pictures are shown on all sides, and everything that is shown on them describes the characteristics of the air conditioner. Each image is…

Pros
  • Energy efficient design.
Cons
  • Too fragile device.

Ontel Arctic box with motor: my truthful feedback

There is no mention of any air conditioner. A maximum decrease of 2 degrees is directly the maximum he can do. In hot weather, you can immediately throw it away. What can we talk about here, and there is no question of any cooling at all. Waste of money. With the same success, you can attach a bag of frozen water, and there will be the same effect. Maybe even better. First of all, from the very beginning, what alerted me was that it smelled wildly of plastic and I ordered it not at all from…

Doesn't even cool my locker

This little thing doesn't cool my locker at all! And what a hassle, constantly refilling the water level every 30 minutes during operation, and you have to put the water through a small filter before using it and put it in the freezer for a few hours, if it thaws after about 15 minutes, it's useless too blow. NO COLD air but soft light pretty lol

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Terrible horrible product - a waste of $40

Received this product yesterday 8/6/21 and was only on for 10 minutes! Even quiet it's so loud, high it sounds like an airplane getting ready to take off! I am very disappointed, I only bought it for my bedside table and will NOT find any rest. Also, it really wasn't that cool and I put the filter under running water and in the freezer AND I put ice cubes with water in the tiny tank, in my opinion that's a $40 waste! And there is NO way to turn off the LEDs and the machine itself is so tiny…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Some problems

I wasn't expecting this unit to blow out a lot of cold air. I was just expecting it to emit air a little colder than ambient to reduce sharpness, and it certainly isn't more. If that was the only reason to rate it, I'd probably rate it a 3 (the thermometer says it does little or no heat reduction, but it feels a little cooler). However, the only real value of this device is that it needs to be close enough to blow air around you (i.e. there's no point in simply placing it a few feet or more…

Not what I expected

I ordered it because it offered cold air. The first time I used it I wet the filter, put in cold water and ice as suggested and didn't have time to freeze the filter. It hasn't worked for 10 hours, as I said, with a full tank it still doesn't work. The next day I used it all the water/ice had seeped into the bottom of the tray and was leaking. Cleaned, dried and tried again, it seems the more I use it the cooler the air gets. I'm not 100% happy with it, but personally it scares me. It won't…

waste of money. Just buy a fan!

I've tried everything to make it worthwhile. I've frozen large ice cubes, crushed ice, and the filter, but it still blows out semi-cold air, about as cool as a regular small fan, but costs three times as much. I understand it's small and shouldn't cool the entire room, but it doesn't even blow out significantly cool air, nor does it blow out very much - even at high power. Just grab a tiny fan, sip ice-cold water, and sit next to a color-changing night light instead. I am not sure how or why…
