New lids didn't fit the threads on my cans, but my old lids held the nozzles in place just enough to keep them from leaking.

. I hate new gas cartridges and spouts. It is very difficult to pour gasoline out of them. You have to remove the spout and pour into the funnel or you'll be sitting there filling it forever. A victim of all this green nonsense. They are very easy to use.

The large nose caps are a bit snug you need to be careful when starting out but they work, they might loosen after a little experimentation. The vent caps fit well. Now my trusty 25 year old plastic glasses are like new again.

Call me an old bag but I like the old grommets much better. Damn, if I spill something, it's my fault. One thing I'd like to see is a way to secure the lid so it doesn't get lost. I make my own so it's not a big deal but a manufacturer would be nice.

The vent caps on my old glasses broke over time and became unusable. This was an easy fix to keep the liquid from evaporating from the can and extended the life of my cans. I bought a full set although I didn't need spouts but as spares they will come in handy.

The flexible spout on my 20+ year old Rubbermaid gas cylinder broke when I tried to bend it while refueling the lawnmower. Easy to fix right? NOT CORRECT! New EPA regulations have made finding the right spout much more difficult. After buying 2 that didn't work (due to stupid government rules) I bought this one. Works perfectly!

The vent plugs are the same as the originals. They come with an O-ring inside. You can use with or without. It doesn't screw very far with the o-ring in the cap. I had the original bleeder can on one of my cans, I pulled the o-ring out and it was exactly the same. I put a new one on the canister, poured it in, it doesn't flow. Nice replacement, my glasses are like new. The nozzles are great too.
