The vent plugs are the same as the originals. They come with an O-ring inside. You can use with or without. It doesn't screw very far with the o-ring in the cap. I had the original bleeder can on one of my cans, I pulled the o-ring out and it was exactly the same. I put a new one on the canister, poured it in, it doesn't flow. Nice replacement, my glasses are like new. The nozzles are great too.
