Perfect for converting my 3x to 1x. Not narrow wide, but still much better than the stock middle chainring. Seems to be of good quality and very light. 5-bolt chainrings are hard to come by and narrow wide options are very expensive. This seems to do the trick for 1/3 the cost.

Feels well made and light weight So 4 stars. Mine seems too elliptical, I don't expect a perfect circle, but it took me ages to find that middle ground for chain tension on my single speed. Keep in mind that this is not intended for single speed. I just wanted my build to have fewer teeth. So if you're looking for a single speed chainring, you might want to spend a little more Skrilla on something else.

I bought a new chain and found that my very old chainring was worn out and stuck on the chain (chain sucks). I bought it and everything was fine for a while. Shimano Octalink 3x9 cranks (3 front, 9 rear or 27 speed total) with 104 bcd are oddly shaped. While the large and medium gears hang together on the same bolt circle (104mm), the medium gear (this one) has a slightly smaller inside diameter than the large gear. I'm not talking about the bolt circle diameter (BCD) but the actual inside diameter of the middle gear.
