Ideal for upgrading to a double or single chainring

My main weekend bike has a two ring Shimano Sora crankset. I wanted to simplify the setup and move on to the 1x9 speed setup. These bolts are ideal as they are short and allow you to mount a sprocket on a cross designed for two. Very easy. I had no issues with the trim or durability of the steel versions. They were also easy enough to install without any special tools.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Check out Technique, they are absolutely perfect and made in the USA.

For those looking for a quality chain pin for high-tech assembly, this is not for you. The picture is a rendering, not what you will even get. Also, the beautiful deep gold in the picture is not what gold looks like at all. Super cheesy. I have never given a star. I just want others to know what to expect. I hope this helps at least one person to choose another high end build product. Take care boys/girls.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I am silent

Good quality good for transmission components

Bought these for my 6ku track. The bike after changing the chainring to a Vuelta 39t and installing it on the inside of the crank. The original front sprocket was installed on the outside, but I switched the rear wheel to a foot brake, so to align the Kianline I installed it on the inside as recommended by my LBS. This resulted in the chainring bolts ending up in a groove on the back of the chainring, requiring shorter bolts to evenly tighten the bolts. I first ground the insides of the stock…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Protection
