Mod Podge is a must for science and social science display boards. It's better than glue or science fair board tape. Even for an inexperienced person, this tool will help create beautiful projects. Highly recommended if you have kids who regularly do school projects.

I used Mod Podge for the first time and realized with pain that sponges = BLADDER. Good price for a large number of both matte and glossy versions. The disposable brushes are a good size for what I need and since I usually rinse my brush after use they last a long time. I like Mod Podge because it has quite a long open time before filming, it's easy to dilute with water to thin for spraying, and it's almost invisible once it dries. White "woodworking" glue (not yellow!) has most of the same properties, but I haven't found a brand that has as much open time as Mod Podge.
