I needed a new coffee filter for my Breville coffee maker that was over 4 years old because the pad (handle) of the original filter broke. I ordered this as a replacement and expected the same life from it, but the bale broke in less than 3 months of use. This appears to be a poor quality product and I would not recommend it to anyone. Update: Still preventing accidents after three years. Easy to use and clean. I like it! I bought this more or less on a whim - another paper filter somehow managed to make its way into our coffee maker and spilled the grounds into the coffee and onto my freshly washed counter.
