The instructions are a joke. The product is not worth spending money on. I installed one of the hook clasps and when I installed it I tried and it broke the first time. garbage and go back. Careful, bad company.

I'm a little disappointed. The build quality seems good, but the coating was such that the latches seemed to stick every time we latched them. I hurt my hand trying to open it. I ended up taking the file in the areas that were mandatory so the fit was better. Although they are still pretty tight.

Access to the lower bolts can be difficult but not impossible. This product comes with all the replacement parts but I used the ones that were already on the jeep. All the strands fit together and work great together. The strength and appearance of these latches are much better than original OEM parts. They are much larger and look great on the hood. Great investment and looks.

Luckily I also replaced the grille so I had a little better access to the bottom screw. Very easy installation - the only issue I encountered was reusing the original hood rubber bumper. It obviously didn't fit in the hood latch, so it just got stuck there. It seems to me that after a couple of hits with the hood, they will come off and disappear forever, and my hood will start to bounce. Until then, they look cool and I'm happy with the purchase.

They are easy to install if you have the right tools. They look good and are quite durable. The disadvantage is that the bolt is not long enough to shorten or lengthen the fastener. It says "at least 3 threads to stay safe" (or something like that). The passenger side was fine, when I did the driver's side I adjusted everything correctly and tightened the post nuts and it started pulling the strings from underneath. I tightened the bottom a few more turns and loosened the top a few more turns…
