Cool, comfortable, fits under an airplane seat

Very comfortable and stays cool as intended. I've used it on several trips, some of which have been full. I like the flexible backrest because I can tuck it under an airplane seat. There were trekking pole holders that worked. The only downside is the curved back, which limits packaging options. But for hiking in hot water, this is a great compromise.

Not for those who are not skinny.

I have several Osprey packs and my old pack is completely dead. I understand the Osprey will repair and replace old packs, but I couldn't in good conscience return it after years of use and abuse so I did did a little research and ordered this little backpack. Unfortunately I can't see the packages in person anywhere near me, so I took a chance and ordered this one. I'm not a tall person (size 10). The chest strap barely clicks into place, and while I don't use it regularly, this lap/thigh…

Great backpack with useful features

Nice, well made and light backpack. I'm 5.5 inches and about 131 pounds. I used the official Osprey website for my measurements. For reference, my back length is 16.25 inches and the recommended size for a 16-17 inch back was both xs/s and s/m. Spring. I chose xs/s but the lap belt goes over the iliac crest, not on it. In other words, it's more on my waist. I've tried adjusting the length of the back panel and shoulder straps and at best it's "almost" in the right place. It still works to take…

I LOVE this backpack

I LOVE this backpack. Not only did I get compliments on the style and color (which made me laugh because in a few months from hiking it was going to be so muddy that color wouldn't matter), but it performed surprisingly well on my desert hikes held. I use it to carry camera gear and can say that it's a good camera backpack for DSLR users who want to hike with a lot of gear. Camera equipment must be stowed in protective cases as the backpack does not contain padding, but the internal frame helps

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Cannot withstand weight of water, pulls shoulder.

I wanted to like this package. The back panel is really comfortable but doesn't provide enough support for the 3 liters of water I carry with me when hiking. I've tried playing around with the settings, but while the waist belt has good webbing, the straps themselves are narrow and a weak link. for support. For comparison I have some old camels that disappear on my back. I'm trying to replace that. I like the ventilated back, I mostly travel in a very hot and humid region. The back will still…

Great day pack! about sport

*I'm female, 5'10, about 140 lbs, size S/M*This Osprey daypack was a great purchase! The straps make my hikes MUCH easier than a bag without these features. The only real downside I can find is that there aren't enough pockets inside. This is mainly a personal preference; I just like having a lot of organizational options. One of the outside pockets has a strap to secure your water bottle, but I noticed the other side pocket has the strap on the inside? Not sure if that's supposed to be the…

  • This is great

Overall excellent quality compared to Deuter Airlite 20 SL

Excellent backpack. It had everything and more I was looking for. It's lightweight, comfortable and has lots of extra pockets. I like the front center pocket for easy access to a rain cover or an extra water bottle or two (I also carry baby water bottles, after all, so it's great to have them all outside without having to climb in). Bulk). Some webbing loops that I don't know what to use for. It also has a small pocket on the shoulder strap. Maybe for chewing gum? But it is open at the top so…

Useful and attractive day/commuting/water pack

I love the look of Osprey packs! They have the best colors and simply beautiful designs. My purple tutu matches my hair so I was happy to get it. I wanted a small backpack (15-25L) for day hikes and on paper it was perfect for all needs. - Capacity 20L (I measured for S/M) - Ventilated back panel - Adjustable torso length. The shoulder straps are equipped with a strong Velcro that can be moved. The mesh pocket on the belt is perfect for a headlamp or a small hand sanitizer. Large elastic outer…

  • Lots of positive vibes

  • No performance
