🚲 Osymoker Anodized Alloy Presta Valve Caps + Copper Presta to Schrader Bicycle Bike Valve Adaptor: Must-Have Tools for Tube Pump, Air Compressor, and Car Converter Review

Accidentally ordered a camera with a presta valve for my bike. I bought this adapter to use the tube and in case I need to refill my tire with Presta valves. Worked great.

The lids look great and best of all they don't break or fall off like plastic lids. The adapter will work, but be careful not to bend the Presta stem. I keep one in my pocket in case I need an air pump at a gas station.

Adapters will not fit valve stems. It is impossible to put this down to user error. The valve stem is unthreaded as shown in the promotional photos. In short, the adapter prevents the valve stem from opening.

Bought these as spares knowing I would lose my favorite adapter over time. I made the mistake of not trying them until I needed them. One adapter came without an O-ring and was therefore unusable. The other was leaking air and I could only get about 70psi (need 110psi). Consider others.

Once I knew how Presta fittings work I was able to use adapters (the picture is misleading as there are NO Presta adapters in the package, only adapters and valve caps). Unscrew the Presta and screw on the adapter. Valve covers are not actually required but are an attractive addition to a motorcycle.

The extra valve caps were just a bonus and don't really match the color of my bike but I still like how they look and they are durable/harder to lose than the original plastic caps (I dropped one of the plastic caps on the pavement and accidentally stepped on it which caused it to snap and was very difficult to find on the pavement/they lost it in the mud as well). I have used Schrader adapters to connect my compressor/remount tubeless tires and had no problems with them.
