Read My ABS Codes

After getting this I disabled the wheel sensor on my 2003 Dodge 2500 and 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The codes worked as expected and the OTC 3208 was able to read the codes and tell me which sensor I disabled. I've tried this test on other cheap code readers in the past and returned them because they couldn't read those cars. It's a keeper and the price was right.

Pros
  • 2003 Dodge and 2005 Jeep Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Only available in white

Bought for ABS code capability. It worked on my machine.

OTC 3208 technical support has confirmed that it can read my 2005 GMC Sierra ABS codes. ABS code and save tons of money! Like other scanners, the OTC 3208 requires detailed menu selection and a little patience. Email the support team to see if this works for your vehicle.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great Light for PT Cruiser Dashboard

I recently purchased a 2003 PT Cruiser. Dashboard instruments are embedded in 3 round tube strips. At night, only the arrows and numbers are illuminated. During the day shadows cast shadows on the tubular protrusions that hide parts of the speedometer dial. I attached this lamp to one of the steering wheel spokes by adjusting the flexible arm to illuminate the speedometer in front of it on the instrument cluster. The light rotates with the steering wheel, but since most of the time you drive…

How to use for abs.

I would like to clarify those who write that it is impossible to check the ABS on their car. I bought it a year ago and was furious when I thought it couldn't, only to find that I didn't install it properly. That's a bit confusing. When you ask for ABS codes, he gives OBD2/EOBD, USA, EUROPE and ASIA options. I initially opted for OBD2/EOBD and was also greeted with an undetectable ABS. I then went in and selected US and it asked for the year, make and model, in my case it was a 2001 Buick…

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • There is nothing here

Exceeds expectations!

Better than expected! Works on our 2010 Silverado, 2008 Impala and even 1995 Blazer. On two new cars it shows a TON of live engine data and can pull and clear ABS codes. The Blazer also showed real-time data, but not much, and couldn't read the ABS. For ABS, select a vehicle and it only lists Ford for 1995 trucks. My understanding is that GM switched to OBD2 in 95-96 so we had luck with engine codes but not ABS. The manual lists 5 pages of real-time data it can display depending on the vehicle.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Otc is a good brand, garages use them. I don't want to upgrade and upgrade to DB 11 for a few more dollars. Half of these get worse with updates or don't work. This will do everything as resetting transceiver codes hasn't seen one reset in cheaper models. Snapon for about $5,000 held in a large hand does it all. New cars are complete junk when you change the transmission. Get a snap or pay the dealer 250 to reset it. While you're at it, grab a scanner and a friend to ride with so you can read…
