Essential Snap Ring for your Master Cylinder

This snap ring is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast. It's durable and sturdy, making it easy to use and install. The snap ring holds up well, even in harsh conditions. However, it doesn't come with instructions, so it may take some time to figure out if you're not familiar with snap rings. Overall, the OTC 4870 Master Cylinder Snap Ring is a great addition to any mechanic's tool kit.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use
Cons
  • Requires a specific type of master cylinder, limiting compatibility

that's good would be

Used to overhaul the rear brake calipers on a 2001 Accord v6. You will need this to pull out the internal retaining ring/retaining ring. Have used it on 2 calipers so far. Other more popular master cylinder calipers had reviews saying they were flimsy or sometimes broken so I took a chance on them, they're a good recommendation

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Works well but not durable.

Was used to repair a brake caliper but turned out to be no longer fit for the repair. However, the tool worked fantastically. Follow up review, I've had it for a little over a year. And one of the pins that goes into the locking ring is broken, works fine if you only use it a couple of times with relatively weak locking rings. So I have to lower my rating from 5 to 3 stars.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Incredible Piggy Bank
