Works great for Mopar 9.25/C235 rear ends in .

is perfect for the rear of the Mopar 9.25/c235 in Dodge 1500 pickups and I'm sure in many, many other old solid axle Chrysler rear applications it's just what you need, nothing more and no less damn cheap

Pros
  • Durable Test Results

REFURBISHED 2010 RAM 1500 HIND LIMB

I KNOW PEOPLE SAID YOU CAN JUST BUILD ONE BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY ROD, BIG NUT OR SWEAT. I HAD TO REPLACE THE GEAR BEARING AND BEARINGS ALONG WITH MY RING AND GEAR AFTER A GEAR BEARING FAILED AND THE GEAR NUT WAS DEFECTIVE. THIS TOOL MAKES WORK MUCH EASIER!

Diff Pre Load What cha jiggit

I've been involved with cars all my life and I've never heard of such a tool. What I thought was an easy fix turned into a nightmare! Why? Because I didn't have a tool to preload the diff bearings. 2 days of searching and trying to do something on site were in vain. finally ordered it from Revain, received it in 2 days and it took (no kidding) 3 minutes to loosen the bearing preload! Remember I already disassembled my diff, but it's a lot easier with the right tool. Buying works great.

Did the trick. Made work easier!

I bought this tool to help loosen the adjusting nuts when servicing a Chrysler 8.25 axle on my '99 Dodge Dakota pickup. After removing the axle shafts, this tool went in and easily hooked the adjusters. This truck has an offset axle; That means the differential is closer to the passenger side, which makes the pipe on the driver's side longer. The tool entered both axes, allowing it to be gripped at least 3 inches. The tool has about 6 inches of heat shrink tubing on the end of the wrench that…

Chrysler rear essential tool

Essential for a Chrysler 8-1/4 or 9-1/4 rear rebuild. You can do this if you have a welder, otherwise you will need this or something similar to loosen the differential bearing adjusters inside the case through the axle tube. Almost useless for everything else, but you'll save yourself a $G bill if you do the work yourself. The only other "special tools" you absolutely need are a 0-60 in./lb. torque wrench or beam torque wrench to check the critical pinion bearing preload and a dial indicator…
