I have used silicone ice cream molds before and this set exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed with the ball shapes after using them, I ended up with full balls (I use them to keep my dog's water bowl cooler for longer). I use cubes for myself to keep drinks cold when I go out on the patio. The molds are flexible enough to manipulate ice, easy to clean, and small enough to fit in my already packed fridge.

I had a mold to make 4 ice cream scoops and wanted to make a lot more at once for punch. This worked great, you fill out the form by filling the bottom with water until you get just below the line and then you put the lid on. I was able to stick chunks of lemon and lime zest in the hole at the top and I wish I had remembered to take a picture because the results were so good - well, the joys of hospitality!

It's silicone I agree but that's the only precision the manufacturer has to claim. In order to obtain a mould, in this case rumored to be used to make round and square ice cubes, two parts must be joined together to form the material. This is not the case with this product, the top of the round shape is so thin and light that it just floats away, there is no mechanism to connect the two shapes, they just sit on top of each other. Not a bad buy for the price but it took a bit of effort to figure out the best way to use the round ice tray. First, consider spending a few bucks more for a round ice cream mold that snaps open. If you choose this one you will not need a funnel as shown in the photos. I tried my best to get one and found it completely unnecessary. The square shape in this set is beautiful.
