Had two thoughts on purchasing this electric anchor but once installed I have no regrets. For me it's a lot easier than having a wet rope and an anchor on deck. I bought a wireless remote control and it works great.

Wanted to install it and it didn't fit. I noticed that the wires looked like someone was trying to mend them. If we move the wires it will work, but if we don't get a replacement I'll have to send it back. Not a happy fisherman at the moment.

This block was obtained with parts in the whole box. All were recorded but not collected. I wanted to return but decided to collect and test. Everything works fine, let's see how it will be over time. This is my second unit, the first arrived assembled. So far I can highly recommend it. Steve G

Very unreliable. Worked well at first, not the next day. Worked sporadically for 2 days and then gave up completely while I was at the lake. I had to raise the anchor manually. I sent it back. Revain gave me a full refund within days. I had an old model that lasted many years but it looks like it was made a lot better.

I installed this on my 13ft fishing boat and use a 15lb river anchor. And I installed a second up-down switch on the rudder. It's nice to have an electric crank instead of the crank I had before. Works well in general but would be better if the anchor could free fall on the way down. It rolls at the same speed as it winds, so it now takes longer to drop anchor. But I'm glad I have one and now I use the anchor a lot more when I'm fishing.

I installed this on a Lowe Sea Nymp 1457 with a 15lb mushroom anchor. I love it. I put it on the front and also installed a remote kit. I am very happy. I've used it about 4 times and the convenience is just something. I can put it in the back and lower the front mount without moving the lazy rear end. hope it lasts Works exactly as described. Man, I don't even know where to start with this little paradise! I am a disabled vet with 4 discs. I get shots from the VA every three hours and painkillers if needed. This accessory has saved me from sooooo much discomfort and the pain is just unbelievable! I took my new workboat to the machine shop and welded it to the aluminum platform.
