Works reliably. The range is good.

I bought it when I was looking for an outdoor lighting solution for my garden. I decided to use this product with an outdoor extender to power a group of LED bulbs. I connected it to my SmartThings hub with no problems and it has stayed online securely ever since. Control via SmartThings and Alexa (via SmartThings) is flawless. It hasn't rained that hard in Seattle yet, but so far so good. I bought the Z-Wave solution because the range needs to be higher than WiFi. Haven't tested this over 10…

At first I was happy with this outdoor Z-Wave plug, but after just over a month of use, I found that my landscape lighting controlled by this device stays on 24 hours a day . Initially I was able to just unplug the unit and it worked again for a few days but now the light comes on and stays on 24 hours a day. The manual on/off switch on the device also no longer works. UPDATED ZWAVE PAIRING PROCEDURE

I've read previous reviews including one that recommended 'erasing' the device before trying to 'pair' or 'install' it with the ZWAVE!STOP!I'm using Trane/ Nexia Bridge and have bought two of these devices. THE NEW INSTRUCTIONS CLEARLY BEGIN THE PAIRING PROCESS ON THE BRIDGE BEFORE CONNECTING THE REMOTE PLUG TO THE SOCKET. IT IS IMPORTANT.
