Looks good but straps are poorly adjustable for comfort

I give 3 stars just because the straps aren't the best. Actually the worst thing I've ever seen. The customization isn't great. You can adjust it to fit snugly, but then you can't use the padding to cover the chin straps. The reason for this is that it has two pieces of plastic that the straps pass through on either side to fit snugly between the ears and not touch them. If the settings could be better it would be 5 stars for me. I can't wear buckle straps at all because it's uncomfortable. And

Survived my bike accident

I'm always a little wary of buying cheaper safety products, but I'm a cheapskate. I bought this helmet because it was a great price and also felt more like actual mountain bike gear. Granted the ventilation isn't as good as helmets that are 5-10x better or don't have the same sex appeal, but it worked! I had an accident where the front wheel locked and that put me over the wheel where I didn't have much time to do much. He knocked me unconscious for a few seconds and landed in a rocky area. I…

My favorite bike helmet

This is the best helmet I've ever had. It feels very safe and feels like a quality helmet. The shape of the helmet fits the contours of my head very well. Nice and long brim protects eyes from the sun and attaches securely to the helmet. It doesn't feel like they're going to fall and not let the sun through. What I don't like so much is that the straps are not adjustable in height. Rather than just lifting the straps up so they land just below my ears, they actually sit much further down my…

Good bang for the buck in helmets and accessories

Firstly these helmets are very good value for money compared to the famous brand. They are almost on par with the helmets which are about $20-$30 more expensive. There are a couple of things to note: they only adjust for size on the back half, not around the head. So when set, they pull your head forward towards the front of the helmet. This wouldn't be a big problem if the helmet had more padding. (The front pad is so small it's almost useless) which brings me to the pad. It's very small and…
