Great Potholders!: Potholders and Potholders

So far so good. I know some reviews say they are big but I am a woman with small hands and I think they are ok. You can't expect them to be golden like gloves, they're potholders. Very happy with the purchase and I feel my hands are protected.

Pros
  • Neat job
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ice Cream Gloves for Kitchen and Dining

I ordered these heavy duty ice cream mitts! The arthritis in my wrists is so bad in the mornings that it's almost impossible to move my arms. I add some ice and in the morning they are so easy to pop out of the freezer and put on. Instant convenience!

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Love it! But it seems big.

I love how easy they are to clean! The outer gloves appear to have a coating of silicone which I assume is easier to lint/wash. I also appreciate the loops on the ends of the gloves so I can hang them up in the kitchen. The size is HUGE. If you have relatively small hands I wouldn't recommend them. My hand is medium sized and I feel like I can put both hands in one glove.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • This makes me angry

They keep the heat and are attractive at the same time!

I used one of those 3M wall hangers (I know they're super techy) and just hung them on the wall next to my cooker. Perfect! They look nice there. It's like I always bake something: DI gave 4 stars because it's obvious they wouldn't hold up if I keep the pan hot for too long or use very high temperatures. If you use 400+ regularly, I'd probably go with something else.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

I burned my hand after a month

I've had these oven mitts for about a month and I really love them. I prepared breakfast, I went to get a frying pan and in a second it started smoking and burning my fingertips and the bottom part of my hand wasn't impressed at all, they almost caught fire within 2 seconds, after touching the frying pan which they obviously have A heat protection layer is very thin and cheap and wears out quickly. It could have ended a lot worse and I'm so glad it didn't

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Available in white only

Quality product, not like salmon or other fish. zero burns. 10/10

Potholders are something that, once bought in a lifetime, you assume will be yours for the rest of your life. Well, after a relationship change and two stays later, I still clung to that dangerous assumption. After cooking home meals many times later and using a spare kitchen towel to protect my severely calloused but still vulnerable hands, I announced that I had had enough. It's time to correct this unreliable and immature situation and accept the fact that at 34 I had to buy a second set of…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

After a month I burned my hand

I've had these oven mitts for about a month and really liked them. I just thought they were good enough and got rid of the old ones and today while making breakfast I went to get a frying pan and in a second it started smoking and burning my fingertips and the bottom of my hand wasn't at all impressed with them, they almost caught fire within 2 seconds of touching the pan. They obviously have a heat shield that is very flimsy and cheap and wears out quickly. It could have ended a lot worse and…

Pros
  • Extra long kitchen gloves 16 inches protect the forearms, soft terry cloth lining ensures a comfortable fit.
Cons
  • Not the best

DOES NOT PROTECT HANDS

WARNING: This will not protect your hands from the hot pan. This is a little protective when moving the pot from one burner to another. But if you're moving a hot pan or dish a little farther away (e.g. from the oven to the dining table) - forget it. Very thin. And I thought the silver fabric was heat/flame retardant. NOT CORRECT. It's just gray plastic. They are also very big. I'm a normal guy with average hands but these hands float in these. Not very safe if you want to make sure something…

Pros
  • These oven mitts withstand fire for 10 seconds before catching fire. However, as soon as they are removed from the source of the flame, the flame goes out.
Cons
  • No
