Not Up To The Mark: my feedback

The industrial drill bit did not meet my expectations. As a result of using this product, I found that it was not able to drill through concrete as advertised. The drill bit frequently overheated and dulled quickly, resulting in a very time-consuming job. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient tool in the Industrial and Scientific category. However, the only positive aspect was the affordable price.

Pros
  • Affordable price
Cons
  • Overheats and dulls quickly

Works well in concrete

I was able to drill many holes in concrete with the same drill bit. They do not bend and become blunt for a relatively long time. But in the end, after many exercises, the head falls off.

Pros
  • 10/pk 3/16" x 4-1/2" Concrete Carbide Tip Semi-Flat Shank Drill Bit Used for drilling in masonry, stone, ceramic tile, brick, concrete and marble.
Cons
  • High Price

Did the job. in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

I used these bits to drill mortar between the bricks above our chimney to make holes for nails to hang a heavy picture. I didn't measure the bits when they arrived to make sure the length was as advertised, but I could use a slightly longer bit. I'm glad I got a few bits because they dulled quickly. I used at least 4 to complete the bore.

Pros
  • High quality carbide tip with long life Drilling in brick, concrete, ceramic tile, brick, granite, stone.
Cons
  • unreliable
