Not on microscopes

This is a fun novelty for examining fingerprints up close. It's useless to actually see anything in detail. The camera is the same as the one that was in your phone around 2006. I was trying to see some kind of fungus in a petri dish and the image was unusable not only for detail but also when zoomed out. The stand is unweighted, cannot stay in place, and is more of a hindrance than a help. This is a frivolous item, only suitable for joke gifts or babies.

Definitely NOT 2000X!

First image is Oxbird 2000x directly on the supplied test reticle, second image is of a very old db power 300x USB microscope (which looks almost identical in appearance and costs about the same), also directly opposite the same one designated crosshairs. software provided by oxbird, the settings for each image are identical. I'm sending Ochsenvogel back! I will try other inexpensive USB oscilloscopes until I find one that beats the db power scope in magnification and resolution. It wasn't like

good for money Glitch and not working.

I had to try 4 Android devices to find one that worked. Doesn't work with Pixel 4A (probably phone issue), doesn't work with FireHD10, doesn't work with Moto G6. It finally worked with the Moto G7. It also managed to get it to work on Windows 10. However, the "Snap" button does not work on any of these devices. Because of this, you must hold the microscope steady (unless you can use the stand) and try to take a picture with the software. The maximum image resolution is 640x480.

Worse than child's play

I think you get what you pay for. It's a cheaper quality than the price I paid for it. I bought it so that when I take my son to a science discovery class, he can learn different things. I can't even connect it to my phone. My phone doesn't read. Instead, I have to take my laptop with me, and I don't want to take anything that big with me. It was a waste of my time and money. Nobody uses USB cables anymore, so try to update it and make it a straight Type-C cable so our devices can read it and…

Fantastic product for this price range.

Pictured is a 1/8" drill bit and reed switch (short video) as I drove past it several times with a magnet. Every parent has to click the 'Buy' button. Can see the horizon of one to expand young people to science ok its not all roses the base and armature are cheap lightweight plastic you may need to either clip or glue/glue/velcro the base to something sturdy or it will. As for the people complaining that it doesn't work with their PC, visit their website, download their software and it works…

Pros
  • Decent performance

For the price it's ok. Definitely doesn't fit on the phone.

Image quality is normal. The buttons on either side do nothing. You focus by turning a dial on the side that extends and retracts the lens. Zoom is when you zoom in or out on the camera and adjust the focus. There's a dial on the cord for adjusting the brightness, which only decreases until it turns off completely. Worked with both phones I tried (Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy A71) but not so well with my computer. Sometimes it works, but more often there is an error message. My computer doesn't have…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Almost everything available

Works great - I use it as a magnifying glass to see the trichomes. However, the microscope has two "Zoom" and "Photo" buttons that literally do nothing. The zoom is changed by the physical mechanism you turn. I don't know what the electronic button can do with this device. The photo button should theoretically work, but I can only take pictures by somehow clicking on the phone screen while holding the microscope and whatever I'm looking at. To be honest I don't think these two physical buttons…

Fun for all ages, I'm addicted to it.

It is practical and interesting to explore the world around you or yourself. It's not the best type of microscope, but it's a great device for the price. Ever since I got it, I've looked at EVERYTHING I can think of to get up close and personal. I'm addicted to finding out what's hidden from prying eyes (and I have excellent eyesight). Downloading the app and getting started is very easy if you've done this before, but I used Google Play and not a drive. The stand helps with more professional…

The ZOOM switch can zoom six degrees, and the SNAP switch allows you to take snapshots, screenshots and videos at any time. The picture is clear and stable, but this function is only applicable to computers. Data can be stored for a long time.

Completely useless in USB microscopes

I don't know how many other buyers share my opinion on this subject, but here is God's truth. It's increasing like crazy, no doubt about it. However, the optical microscope itself weighs almost nothing. It looks cheap, it feels cheap, let's be honest it was cheap. I wanted to use it to examine the inner workings of mechanical movements in expensive luxury watches. The biggest problem I have is an inability to focus and stay focused. It came with a "stand", at least that's how it was described…
