It took some work but the old injectors were removed. DON'T COUNT YOU WILL REMOVE THE JETS! (If you do, it will break, as the bad reviews suggest.) It requires skill. I turned the jets all the way down, sprayed some lube in the cups, and used a wrench rather than a ratchet. Keep moving the tool/injector back and forth. Most will burst instantly, but even stubborn atomizers will eventually detach.

I was very hesitant to purchase this tool because of the low star rating and people saying it was bent, but thought the special tool was worth a try so as not to be aggressive with the assembly to be matching valve cover gasket. I'm pretty sure all of these people are stupid and installed this stupid thing backwards. It only goes one way and in the other it bounces against the valve springs. After reading the reviews I was skeptical about the purchase. But I'm glad I did! It worked perfectly. Watch a YouTube video of how it works before trying it. I spent 4 hours getting 4 injectors out while waiting for delivery and was only able to get 1 out. After that I gave up and started waiting for this tool.
