THAT'S BIG! good for outdoor cooking tools and supplies

OXO always comes with a good product I believe as we continue to buy different things from this company. Now the only downside is that it's about 2 or 3 inches too big. Damn, this is a huge deal. Be careful with the silicone and don't use it too tightly as there is METAL underneath and will pierce it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some little things

No support and money extortion!

Waste of money! It was necessary to flash again immediately, it completely bends when you try to lift something and falls. Absolutely no support! Look at the picture how the metal below is so small and can't support its very long length. The handles will melt if you accidentally lean them against something hot.

  • Always liked
Cons
  • Security

Strange Flexibility - Grill Stirrer

I love OXO products and decided to try this product without reading the description carefully. Flexibility is a bit odd for my culinary experience as I've only had "hard" spatulas before. Otherwise it's a well made item, easy to clean and I don't see any heat issues. It's bigger than I expected, barely fitting in my utensil drawer.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not quite for all purposes

Love it for what it can do. Turn around, turn around, get food to let go. All is well. Ideal for omelettes, pancakes and other full pans that need to be turned. The only thing that makes it less than perfect is the size of the head. You definitely need room in the pan for it to move. Forget small meals. Flip each one over with tongs. Unfortunately, this is not a general purpose tool.

Quality materials at a great price.

I've used these OXO omelet flippers a few times now and love the design. This is a bigger pinball but the results are great. Thanks to the rounded edges and beveled body, you can easily separate the edges of boiled eggs from the pan. If you had a square-ended lathe, you'd have to be careful not to tear the omelet apart when separating the edges from the pan. Silicone material is ideal for use at higher temperatures than plastic or nylon lathes and is also more flexible. This turner cleans…

Bigger than expected, thin and chunky

Overall I love and trust OXO products. This spatula looks well made with good materials, but it's too big and thin to be practical. The business end measures a whopping 7 inches at its longest point and 4 inches at its widest point. The material is engineered to be ultra-thin and flexible, but in a spatula of this size, it makes utensils brittle and unwieldy. If I want to turn a piece of chicken or fish, it's almost impossible to do so without poking and lifting the pieces around it. This isn't

good quality but short handle is a nuisance

This spatula is made just as well as any OXO product. The grip is comfortable and the materials seem durable. But it's really hard to use because the handle is so short! This spatula is about the same length as any other spatula and is a poor design choice. A longer head must not result in a shorter handle! A particular problem is the short handle due to the high flexibility of the head. While this is great for slipping the spatula under food initially, it means you have to move it quite a bit…

  • Sturdy design
