🍾 Effortlessly Open Bottles with the OXO Steel Double Lever Waiter's Corkscrew Review

I prefer this style of corkscrew but it's amazing how many of them look the same but work (or don't work) differently. I ordered this as a backup of my favorite and when I first saw it I was disappointed that it wasn't exactly the same. Wow - was I ever wrong! This corkscrew is absolutely the best.

I would have given this thing five stars straight away but after 6 months the bolt broke and I had to seal it and then finally after another 6 months the screw is gone just fell off. I like ordering another one but a little frustrated that it seems to have a planned obsolescence. If this one doesn't last, I'll be screaming from the hills that nobody should be spending their money on it.

This corkscrew is perfect for opening a bottle of wine or cold beer. I have no problem with this corkscrew. With other corkscrews, the cork broke or worse. It's so easy to use and the cork comes out straight like butter. Of course, the non-slip grip that OXO has on all of their products can't be beat. Stainless steel gives this corkscrew a stylish look. I never hesitate to let him out of the party.

As a regular wine drinker I have tried many different styles and variations of corkscrews. While the bunny and wing styles are basic, I feel they are too bulky to store and carry to be worth buying. . We love OXO here at my house and we have a lot of their devices. First off, I LOVE OXO. I buy their items solely for my kitchen and for that reason I am willing to pay a high price knowing I can expect greatness from them. They literally always think of everything. I also rarely write reviews but this opener was so bad that I hope someone at OXO will read this review and help me fix the design so I can buy the next model.
