Love it! in Cleaning Tools

Probably my favorite cleaning tool. It came quickly. I'm only 5ft 3" tall and can reach my 12ft ceilings. I can't get on the stairs ;) I have a 10 month old baby so he washed up so quickly. It was so easy to use without any mess. My 9 year old son even wanted to clean his own fan. ;)

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The price is too high for the quality of the goods

Arrived early. However, the box was dented. Luckily all the fragments were there. The closure of the microfiber cloth is broken. It still seems to stay in place when not snapped into place. I feel like I have to be careful with every cleaning because the plastic feels a little cheap and breaks easily.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Wrinkled

The dust is gone! - Housewares

I bought it especially for our arched fans and transoms. We used it tonight and it worked great. The bristles are strong enough to scrape off the stuck dust. We used a softer mount to get between the headlights and the top of the fan motor. We could reach the fan from our attic with the tool fully extended.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Not all heads are microfiber

I thought all of those towels were microfiber. I find the product name misleading. One of the microfiber heads. The other two are made of a hard material, like the bristles of a toilet cleaner, hard and prickly. I wouldn't want to use that for my ceiling fans. Very disappointed with this product and now I have to pay $12.50 to return this item.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Tape

54 " vs 8ft plus comments on Furry Boy

I had the 54" version (I'm 5ft 6") but some of my blankets are over 8ft so I was on tiptoe instead of adequate reach /bend to clean high on flat surfaces.Plus the hinge broke when attacking a giant moth ;-) 8ft is a lot better to reach but the hinge is even weaker. Not to mention the orange down isn't as dense is like the one I recorded on my 54" original a few years ago. So I'm very glad I bought backups back then, which wash well by the way (I have no experience with: a ceiling fan or other…

Great before washing on cleaning tools

This item received such great reviews from both Good Housekeeping and Revain that I decided to update (and make more sustainable) my cleaning routine with a disposable cloth. In fact, the microfiber nozzle did a much better job of picking up dust from the door jambs than the faster one. But then I washed it as directed. What a mess! I'm still removing the orange fibers from the dryer and anything else that was in that batch with an oxo head. I will use it again and then I will throw it all…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best

Good value for money

Good value for money. This will take a long time and will work great at home. We've been through a few of them in our small business, where they're used a lot more and take a lot more beating. We've also had a few in our house that have broken in the last 8 years. They are as good as many industrial and commercial and definitely better than any other home appliance I have found. The ones we found are better worth a few hundred bucks if you buy all the parts, which always seem to be priced…

Pros
  • Best value for money
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

it would be great but poorly made

This boot was an absolute marvel until it became one. It works great, cleaning hard-to-reach spots (including ceiling fan blades and under furniture) like a dream, and the attachments are easy to clean in the washing machine. The problem lies in the attachment from the bar to the heads. My first block broke in half after only 6 or so uses. To their credit, the company sent me a brand new kit when I texted them. Unfortunately, the second pole also broke almost immediately. I can't justify…

Paid new, used

Let me start by loving OXO and think they make a lot of great quality products. However, it wasn't a very good experience. The box in which the product is delivered shows the contents. The outside of the box was badly dented, but unfortunately that's not uncommon these days. The top of the box was sealed with tape but appeared damaged. The tape had been removed from the bottom of the box and inside was clear evidence that the item had been used and repackaged. Since the box shows the contents…
