🧼 Convenient 2-Pack Refills for OXO SteeL Soap Dispensing Dish Brush Review

My one star for the disgusting packaging, not the product itself. Metal scissors, you can't detach the brushes. Through the center hole (where the detergent comes out) is a plastic pin that attaches the brushes to the plastic card. To pull the pin out, you'll need two pairs of pliers to separate the two ends of the pin - it's too thick to cut with scissors or anything safe. WHAT THE ?#$% DID YOU THINK, OXO?!?

This is a quality product but after trying to get it out of the OXO packaging I was so disappointed. Mounted on a white plastic button. No disconnect instructions. So I went to YouTube and saw how the guy just smashed it and the plastic broke easily. I have arthritis so it wasn't easy for me. I found the OXO STEEL bristles too soft to be useful. They are so soft that drying a STAHL dishwashing brush on its side will leave a permanent dent in the bristles on one side. Because the standard attachments do not fit the STEEL brush, you cannot replace the STEEL attachments. with the more robust standard baits which I prefer. I have a regular OXO brush (not steel) and decided on a replacement steel brush based on some reviews that they were easier to clean and less food particles get caught between the bristles. They fit great and are easy to put on. The color of the plastic base is gray instead of white like the original nozzle and I think I like the white nozzle better visually. I order these replacement brush heads regularly and they clean all my dishes well including pots and pans. The only downside is that they tend to wear out a little quicker than you'd like. They're soft enough not to scratch the surfaces I use, yet tough enough to thoroughly clean most surfaces, even the rims of pans and pots.
