This is a replacement tappet. I find it amazing. For the gucamole, I first mashed the avocado and that worked great. It's easy to clean and won't slip out of your hands. Also stirs mint good for mojio. This is an excellent product in every way.

I wanted to make a mojito at home. I bought mint, lime, and white rum, but the recipe says to mix those ingredients. So I went looking for a bungler and saw that OXO did it. Bought and as I expected (because it was OXO) it was simple and easy to use. The mojito was a hit.

I have not used D/W because I am concerned that the rubber/silicone will go bad as the dryer heats up. Thank you for a nice practical product for our home bar.

Top marks for quality and grip, but the 'teeth' on the underside of this ram won't help you rip hard. releasing some oil from citrus peels, but probably not well with something like mint leaves, at least not "in a jar". I make a lot of caipirinhas and use this for Demerara sugar, but juicing the limes separately is usually a breeze - it's easier to use a hand press than this pestle, which is a bit disappointing.

The old wooden one was good, but it was from the 1920s and 1930s. This is a new era fashion designer, beautiful, clean, works very well, cleans very well and is a great addition to my tools at my job. I suggest any serious bartender, or mixologist as we like to call ourselves, to get one of these moms because she changes everything.

I've been looking for a pestle for a long time and comparing wood and metal. After reading a lot of reviews, I settled on a metal one. and Oxo got my vote. I've used it several times to squeeze orange slices and mint leaves to put in water. and I can report that water has never been flavored as strongly as it has in the past. You get an extra $ of flavor. I highly recommend it.
