Oxygen Sensor Plug Standard M18 Review

I had to reposition the oxygen sensor on my bike and plug the old hole. This one worked great because it doesn't look like the other big, bulky witches! It looks really nice and the quality is great too.

Need a rear differential fill plug on a 2004 Pontiac Vibe AWD. Previous mechanics cut out the original hex plug. A vise and hammer were used to remove. Since the O2 sensor connector had the same specs and was basically the same, a new frangible washer and anti-seize compound seemed to have done the trick and saved a few bucks on the OEM connector.

O2 sensor connector looks good clean no burrs etc I was happy with this purchase. The only thing that would be better would be if it included a "crimp ring" copper gasket. I had to buy a small amount separately. I fitted a plug into an O2 sensor port that was unused in my application and the plug fits well and perfectly covers the unused port. If I had to connect a different O2 sensor connector I would buy it again.

I often got stuck. Two extensions broke trying to remove the damn thing. Surprisingly, the hex head held up long enough for an 18" pry bar to eventually pry it off. After he finally got out, the first four streams were still stuck in traffic. It took several passes with the thread cutter to erase. The other one I bought I was able to install a few inches more downstream of the manifold. It didn't bother me. It must be made of high quality steel. Kudos to the hex head that withstood the torque…
