Tried 2 diff. Ground and power cables have been replaced in all possible places. No luck, even tried a second unit with the same results, switched to a different brand loco in the $140 range and it sounds perfect. PAC material is usually better quality than this. Was in a new Dodge Ram with no factory amp.

Wow, the first plug I bought wasn't good, it kept coming loose. So I changed it to something else. The second plug fits exactly. But the device beeped without turning on the radio. I was about to return both when I realized all I had to do was change the plug and everything worked.

This product looks good but it doesn't fit my application. I'll keep it with my spares because I might use it in a project at some point. If you have a Kia Sorento with a premium audio system this will not work for use between an aftermarket head unit and a factory amp. After trying several converters, I just gave up on the amp completely.

Seems to be a good quality product but many people have tried it on my car and it's really hard to make a profit, many of studies and still noisy. After many days and many configurations, we removed the gain to reduce noise and sacrificed the output level in favor of RCA. Now the noise level is almost imperceptible, but the end result isn't as strong as the system is capable of.

The plastic around the RCA connectors needs to be removed to allow even the simplest RCA cables to fit. Audio quality was poor at best, and channels were randomly dropped. Worst of all it drew 0.5 amps when off and plugged in properly, not much but enough to drain my Harley's battery after 4 days. I ended up throwing it away and using the high level inputs on my amp, which solved all my problems and cleaned up my fairing.

The product has 4 channels for the front and rear speakers. I added this to the bike and the small footprint, amp remote start cord and 4 discrete channels allow all radio controls to function. It also made the head unit sound clearer without static electricity. I can't say enough about PAC products. Which company. The first device failed after one season. I used a synth to calibrate the droop and this time I'm going to use the voltage that the amp uses. This is the best way to calibrate it.

I replaced the HU, wanted to keep the original bose amp and speakers, not sure if the bose amp gets RCA level or speaker level, the new HU only has one speaker output, bose works not with this speaker, but the volume control overly sensitive, and with a slight "buzz" every time the volume is toggled from 0 to 1.
