Excellent product, perfect fit

Excellent product and fit. Supplied with seal. Fast delivery. Would have given 5 stars but had to return due to bad welds that were leaking. Revain sent a replacement very quickly and returns were easy. Read the installation forums, it's not as difficult as it seems.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some flaws

Nissan Titanium Replacement Manifold

Pacesetter has been around for a very long time and is a very good line of products even for hard to reach applications. The headers do the job and are way better than the cracked factory headers I took off. The fit was spot on and everything fit like the original.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So far so good

Not such a good thing

Bought to fix a cracked OEM in March 2014. March 2017, on the driver's side it makes noises like a map in the spokes and the service engine light is on. Run the code to find the air/fuel sensor. Came back exactly 3 years later. The OEM lasted 9 years before a replacement was needed. I don't want to spend a thousand every three years. Will now try Dorman here.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Security

Works and fits as a direct replacement

Everything worked fine with one exception. When I screwed the new studs into the exhaust flange they seemed to tighten properly, but after I put the nut on and tightened it to the manufacturer's specs, they just kept turning. It was a real chore getting them back after the stitches came off as they wouldn't budge! I ended up replacing the studs and used a stainless steel bolt and nut to connect them to the secondary exhaust pipe.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Annoyed

The manufacturer should have stated that a gasket was included. .

The manufacturer should have stated that the gasket was included. Also, a slight fit issue where the rear exhaust pipe connects to this block just behind the catalytic converter. I had to cut some materials. miles laid on it. DEFECTIVE and LEAK NOW! I have run out of money for a mechanic and need to buy another brand. Stay away from this product!

  • Looks good

Works perfectly. Install Bear

These Cat Manifolds fixed my horrible 0430/0420 Armada/Titan Check Engine dead catalyst bulb. There is no noticeable difference in engine performance, the engine runs a little smoother. Mileage increased by 2mpg on the highway due to new non-clogging coils. I had the dealer install them (only $580 extra labor). I was glad I did. They said the fit was very difficult due to the many screw modifications and probe modifications. It took them 1.5 full working days to install two distributors/coils…

  • Handy Thing

Fits like a glove - exhaust and emissions

I had a cracked exhaust manifold and my Titan ran code p1283 related to an exhaust leak/O2 sensor. Bought this advanced exhaust manifold and was surprised that the manifold was bent at an angle compared to the original which was 90 degrees. The curved angle allows for a more efficient and less turbulent flow compared to the original factory exhaust manifold. To install the drive manifold, I removed the steering axle and in addition raised the motor while it was resting on a piece of 2x4 wood. I

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

As a Nissan technician I can say that all the BAD reviews are true!

Well, as an auto mechanic, most of the bad reviews are right. The driver's side didn't fit. It took a lot of effort and maneuvering to connect the end of the cat to the drain pipe. Much! For a while, that awful silver coating smokes like hell. The supplied studs had to be trimmed to match the thread pitch of the cat. After that, as they say, the check engine doesn't light up. Mentions in other reviews that they rip in the initial stages, probably due to a poor fit. They're really at a stalemate

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly dented
