For Use With Monoprice Mini

I have a Monoprice Mini and my head got jammed. I think I damaged it trying to repair it, so I went looking for replacements. The only differences between this and the monoprice head are that the tip is a bit longer and the section on the Monoprice that goes into the heatsink is unthreaded. To make sure the contact with the heatsink was good I used thermal compound to fill the threaded areas. This resulted in some slipage, so I had to make sure the screw that held it in was extra tight.   • Limited uses outside of 3D printing - brass nozzles have limited applications outside of 3D printing, which may make them less versatile than other options

Excellent price for some spare hot ends

Excellent price for some spare hot ends. Good quality, easy to change out. Change the nozzle frequently to avoid partial clogs, and keep your printer working well.

Pros
  • Bought these to replace he original nozzle on my 3DP-08 and I love the taper on these.
Cons
  • Difficult to clean - with such a small diameter, these nozzles can be incredibly difficult to clean thoroughly, which can lead to clogs and other issues

Great working parts, smaller than standard Anet A-8

Not as long as the original tube in my Anet A8, but I guess I should have measured. The flow through the tube is great.The nozzle is much smaller than the original, but again, it works great.The shortness makes it more challenging to use some customer blower nozzles - which is why the -1 star.

  • I used these to rebuilt the hot end on an old Makerbot Replicator 2.

  • Nozzle throat is different from whst was shown on the picture

Great product. - my new review

This just saved my butt as my extruder burned out due to lack of filament. Easy replacement and I'm up and running again.Only, this picture has the little indent on the rod - the rods I got does not have it - but they seem to work regardless.

  • Requires frequent replacement - due to their fragility and potential wear and tear, brass nozzles may need to be replaced more frequently than other types of nozzles

Purchased for a Monoprice Select Mini v2. You lose .

Purchased for a Monoprice Select Mini v2. You lose about .05mm of build-space since these nozzles are longer than the factory ones but it's worth it. The design of the other nozzle allowed plastic to curl up and get stuck on it, this design completely solved that for me.

  • work as expected and fit printer perfectly.
Cons
  • Limited material compatibility - not all materials are well-suited to brass nozzles, which can be a real limitation for users who want to experiment with different filaments

so good. Prints looking good

I have a Hictop Prusa I3, I burnt out my OEM and replaced with these. So far, so good. Prints looking good. My temp sensor popped out and my hotend got up to 250c and once repaired, no jams, all good. recommend.

  • Quality product and I suggest putting extras away inside foam so they don't get banged up
Cons
  • Not very durable - brass nozzles are notoriously fragile and prone to wear and tear, which can be a real headache for users who need to print large volumes
