Works well. for terrarium heat lamps and mats

I wanted to check my three UV lamps to see if they needed to be replaced. I usually change them every 6 months, but it's good to have these cards to check in advance if the bulb is going out. I suspected my tortoiseshell bulb was malfunctioning and the maps proved it. The old bulb barely registered on the UV spectrum, and the replacement bulb was just as high. A good, convenient and inexpensive way to test expensive light bulbs.

Save time and money replacing expensive UV lamps

This product saves lives. When my bearded vet's vet told me that UV lamps could still emit light even after the lamp stopped emitting UV rays, I wasted time and money visiting an exotic pet store every two months to get their UV replace lamp. Now I can use this card to benefit from each onion and make sure my little pal is getting the nutrients he needs. Might not be as accurate as it says!

I liked the concept of these test cards. The test cards state that it can be used 5000 times. Not sure. Many other reviewers state that it can only be used 500 times, which sounds something like that. I tested an old UV lamp and it tested about 50nm. Installed a new UVB lamp which was bought brand new and also passed the test at about the same level. I found that very strange. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or I bought a bad UV lamp, or these test charts aren't accurate at all. I think only…

**IMPORTANT NOTICE. The product page states that each card is rated for 500 uses. I know this is the correct number because I have another UV card almost identical to this one and this product is also good for 500 uses. However, the information that accompanies the cards is wrong! The product itself says it's good for 5000 uses and not 5000 uses!
