CREATE LOCKING TABS- For use with vinyl and aluminum siding. HOW IT WORKS- Use the SnapLock punch to “SnapLock” skirting and siding to finish trim by creating a locking tab in the cut edge of the siding panel. Frustrating to Use in my review

As a result of my tests, I determined that this punch tool was quite difficult to use. While it does its job in cutting through vinyl and aluminum, it requires a significant amount of strength and precision .The punch tool frequently got stuck on thicker materials, which made the process frustrating. The only positive aspect is that it did PROVIDE precise cuts..

Pros
  • Provides precise cuts.
Cons
  • Difficult to use, gets stuck frequently.

The lowest price, but sometimes bites.

I only need this for one project so can't comment on durability. It seems durable and well built. I've already noticed a traffic jam in the siding. Not a big deal for my little project, but it will probably make things worse if you use it at work. But I want to be fair. It costs less than others, so if you don't use it often, that's fine.

Pros
  • tools and housewares
Cons
  • unreliable
